Sterilization & prevention

At Animal Army, sterilization and preventive care are central to our mission to improve long-term animal welfare in the Chonburi area of Thailand. By focusing on prevention, we work to reduce stray populations, improve animal health, and support a more sustainable future for the community.

Our hospital operates two dedicated operating rooms specifically for sterilization procedures, allowing our team to perform surgeries efficiently while maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards. A typical sterilization procedure takes approximately 30 minutes, using standardized surgical protocols designed to minimize stress and support fast recovery.

CNVR Program (Catch–Neuter–Vaccinate–Return)

A key part of our prevention work is our CNVR program, which focuses on humanely managing community animal populations. Through this program, animals are safely captured, sterilized, vaccinated, and returned to their original territory under monitored care.

The CNVR approach helps to:

  • Reduce uncontrolled breeding and stray populations
  • Prevent the spread of disease through vaccination
  • Improve the overall health of community animals
  • Decrease long-term shelter and rescue pressure
  • Promote humane and sustainable population control

Our Sterilization & Prevention Services Include:

  • High-volume sterilization surgeries in dedicated operating rooms
  • Vaccination programs for disease prevention
  • Pre- and post-operative monitoring and recovery care
  • Community CNVR initiatives and outreach
  • Education on responsible pet ownership and preventive care

Through these efforts, Animal Army combines clinical expertise with community action to create lasting impact. Prevention is one of the most effective ways to protect animal welfare, and our team is committed to making these services accessible and efficient.
