Rehabilitation & long-term care
At Animal Army, rehabilitation and long-term care are an important part of our commitment to animals who require ongoing medical support. In the Chonburi area of Thailand, many animals suffer serious injuries from traffic accidents and trauma. While some of these injuries can result in paralysis or permanent disability, we believe that these animals can still live long, happy, and fulfilling lives with the right care.
Our hospital includes a dedicated orthopedic treatment area designed to support recovery from fractures, spinal injuries, and mobility challenges. We focus on pain management, assisted mobility, and rehabilitation strategies that improve quality of life and independence.
Special Needs & Long-Term Residents
Animal Army currently provides permanent care for seven special-needs dogs who cannot safely return to life on the street. These animals receive daily medical attention, assisted mobility support, and a stable, loving environment. They are an important part of our hospital family and represent our belief that every animal deserves dignity and compassion, regardless of physical limitations.
Our Rehabilitation & Long-Term Care Services Include:
- Orthopedic evaluation and recovery support
- Rehabilitation planning for injured and paralyzed animals
- Pain management and ongoing medical monitoring
- Assisted mobility care and supportive housing
- Long-term sanctuary care for animals with special needs
- Individualized attention focused on comfort and quality of life
Through rehabilitation and compassionate long-term care, we help injured animals regain stability and adapt to new challenges. Even animals facing paralysis or chronic conditions can experience joy, companionship, and safety with proper support.
